South Australia is flattening the curve with a ‘milestone’ achievement

On Thursday 30 April, South Australia recorded its eighth day in a row with no confirmed COVID-19 cases.

This positive news is well-received in what has been a truly testing time for everyone in the community. The state has not formally announced easing restrictions at this stage, however, we are on the right track.

There has been no talk of relaxing the rules of social gatherings, the capacity still sits at a maximum of 10 people, whilst maintaining appropriate social distancing.

Barossa Valley wine and tourist region

On Wednesday 29 April the Barossa Valley and wine tourist region re-opened. The area had been closed off to the public after two separate outbreaks of the coronavirus, which saw several individuals test positive.

Wineries, breweries and cellar doors are currently operating with takeaway services only.

Although restrictions are still in place, we are on the right track to beating coronavirus and returning to normality. It’s important we all continue to follow the current restrictions and not become complacent.
