Community Participation Supports

LAAS is a person-centred disability support provider who is devoted to providing our clients with caring and creative support services that enable you to pursue new opportunities and engage more in community. We collaborate with clients and their support networks including family and advocates to create a service that best meets the individual’s needs.

As an experienced Riverland disability support provider, with our Board and head office all based in the Riverland, we know and understand the Riverland, and are continually developing new opportunities to expand our clients’ skills and experiences.

Clients are supported by dedicated, qualified support workers who are committed, friendly and experienced in providing services to people with disabilities. Employees are appropriately trained to suit the needs of clients and undertake regular training to ensure they provide the best quality of support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and at Day Options.

All employees are required to have or be working towards:

  • Certificate III in Individualised Support (Disability or Community Services)
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate (mandatory)
  • Current Manual Handling Certificate (mandatory)
  • Valid DCSI Clearance, either Disability or Child-related (mandatory)

Additional training in medication administration or other complex needs is provided to employees when supporting people with these requirements.

Please contact us to discuss your needs. We would be delighted to meet you and discuss how we can provide supports that are tailored to your requirements and help you to meet your goals and objectives.
