Accomodation Services

LAAS Accommodation Services provides in-home support to people with disabilities within a group setting in the Riverland and Mallee regions. LAAS has over 30 years of experience in providing tailored services to clients, including matching clients to residential settings that suit the individual. LAAS collaborates with families and clients to create a service that best meets the individual’s needs.

We ensure there is a smooth transition between moving out of the family home into supported living and are dedicated to providing a service that supports people to live in the community they grew up in. We understand the importance of finding a service provider who truly understands the needs of families and clients as we were formed by parents of people with intellectual disabilities.

Our Support

Support services that we provide to assist people to live independently within their home and the community include:

  • Personal Care
  • Meal preparation and assistance throughout meal times
  • Medication administration
  • Complex health supports, including PEG feeding and bowel and continence management
  • Assistance with linking clients into the local community and supporting them to engage in activities and events
  • Assistance with making meaningful social connections
  • Support to clients to increase their independence through teaching living skills and providing opportunities to practise skills daily
  • Collaboration with other health providers to ensure continuity of supports and care
