The staff, CEO, and Board, in consultation with clients and families, spent considerable time during 2021 and 2022 pondering the needs of our clients, who we are, the core values and mission that make us unique, and how we want to shape opportunities for people with disabilities over the coming years.

We decided that we definitely don’t want to rest on our laurels, and instead will face the future with a mindset of collaboration, innovation, inclusion, flexibility, and opportunity. These are the values that are engrained in our culture and articulated in the LAAS Strategic Plan 2022-27, which was formally adopted by our Board of Management at the June 2022 Board Meeting.

The business plans that we are developing to implement this strategic plan include exploration of new services, and embody a willingness to learn from past experiences, leverage our core strengths, but not be beholden to our history.

We look forward to making some exciting announcements over the coming months as we launch new initiatives designed to enhance the opportunities for anyone with disabilities living in the Riverland. You will also see us working more collaboratively with other Providers and perhaps delivering some programs together.
